Pecabit is an independent retailer of hardware wallet devices and is developing a focused companion manager. In supported workflows, security-critical key material remains on the physical device.

Editorial illustrations show generic, unbranded hardware-security workflows. Product appearance and package contents vary by manufacturer and model.
Hardware collection
We source dedicated devices intended to isolate private-key operations from everyday computers and phones. Confirm current models and compatibility before ordering.

PLANNEDSecurity model
Connected software may prepare information, but security-critical approval belongs on supported hardware.
Recovery material should be created through the protected device workflow, never on a website.
Trust the details shown on the hardware display, not only what appears on a connected phone.
Install only firmware intended and signed for the supported model.
Never type recovery words into a website, support form, chat or cloud note.
Knowledge Base
Concise technical notes for evaluating hardware-key workflows. Always follow the instructions supplied with the specific device.
A private key authorizes cryptographic operations. Hardware isolation reduces exposure by keeping secret material away from general-purpose operating systems.
The companion should receive only the public output or signed result required for the workflow. Isolation still requires careful firmware and display verification.
BIP39 describes how entropy can be represented as words with a checksum and transformed into a deterministic seed.
The words are a secret, not an identifier. Compatibility depends on device support, word count, optional passphrase and derivation path.
AES-256 is a symmetric encryption standard. Security depends on correct implementation, mode, key generation and authentication.
Encryption at rest may protect local data, but it does not by itself prove hardware isolation, authenticity or safe recovery handling.
Verified sales & support
Pecabit sells factory-packaged third-party hardware wallets as an independent retailer. Before accepting an order, we confirm the model, price, availability, manufacturer, delivery terms and applicable return conditions. Never include recovery words, private keys, PINs or passwords.
